More crows.

This is something I've put quite put quite a bit of work into and wanted to take a break from before I come back to lay it to rest once and for all. From here on out it's mostly little things. Work up the clouds, moon, done. I had a lot of fun with colors on this piece and before I call it done for good I want to make sure that shows through.

Experimentin'

Lately I've been of the opinion that my photoshop workflow has been somewhat flawed in the past. This piece and a couple other quick ones like it were from a half day spent just retooling things to find a process that works for me. In the end the problems I was having turned out to be more about minor planning issues that any kind of brain problems so I'm mostly happy with the result.

Also, that guy's got a big gun.

This is my initial concept for the main enemy in a student game project I'm working on called "Bearpile." The big fella' has been through a few rounds of iterations since then and let me tell you, he looks loads better.

I'll throw up a few sketches in the next day or so.
